Question: Is it a sin to use sex toys in the bedroom of a married couple?
(Posted by: Stephanie on 2009-12-09 07:22:40)
I can't see how it would be considered adultery. What about pornography for both the husband and wife to watch together(not separately). Thanks. |

Yes, that is adultry because a third party is involved. If you have a problem with this, you need to divorce your husband and marry the vibrator. |

No, but somewhere along the line Christians got the idea of anything more exploitative than the missionary position is the Devil's work. |

It is OK. God supports a happy and fun marriage. |

The modern Church has no problem with either of these things in marriage. The Church just wants you to wait till you're married, not to enforce a dull sex life on you. |

Myself, I see nothing wrong with it. Do it myself with my hubby ;) It make our relationship more fun and exciting. But others do think it is. |

Sex toys are okay; pornography is not okay. |

It is supposed to be between you and your husband and no one else. As long as you both are in agreement. Porn is a sin and degrades the human body and what God intended sex to be for. |

Sex has nothing to do with the 'sin', because, the term 'sin' means blasphemy, which is opposite of the true faith in 'God'. |

Ofcourse not, its part of the pleasure, otherwise we were never created with the sex functions. |

You've obviously read the Catholic Church's Examination of Conscience, haven't you? The only problem I can really see is if you used the toys that are in ANOTHER married couple's bedroom. |
